FAQs about bamboo alpaca pillows

What material are the bamboo alpaca pillows made from?

The pillow comes with a removable outer casing that can easily be removed and machine-washed. This luxuriously quilted outer cover is a superfine bamboo/cotton fabric mix made from 60% bamboo and 40% cotton in a sateen weave construction of 320 thread count per square inch. Beneath the outer cover is a 300 gsm (grams per square metre) layer of ultra-soft, natural bamboo fibre to cushion your head, absorb moisture and provide permanent and natural (chemical-free) anti-bacterial protection.

Inside the outer cover, the inner pillow is filled with a blend of 50% premium quality Australian-grown alpaca fleece and 50% high-performance polyester, designed to be super soft, moisture absorbent with an ideal loft performance.

How much does shipping cost? 

It’s free! There is no shipping cost for our bamboo alpaca pillows and they ship via Direct Freight Express.

When will my order arrive?

At The Bamboo Shop, we provide fast and free shipping on our full range of bamboo and alpaca pillows Australia-wide via Direct Freight Express. 

Delivery time is about 1-3 business days to most metro areas. Please allow an additional 2-7 business days for deliveries to WA, NT and some regional areas.

Above delivery times are estimates only and while every effort is made to ship your order as soon as possible, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Our entire bamboo alpaca range, including our pillows, are shipped out of Victoria and can only be shipped to physical addresses, not PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

All other items are shipped out of our Sydney NSW warehouse and all address types are accepted.

What is your returns policy?

Under the Health Act and for hygiene reasons, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of pillows, pillow protectors, quilts/duvets or mattress toppers. This excludes faulty items and warranty claims.

For all other products sold at The Bamboo Shop, we offer a full refund for products returned to us within 30 days. Any returned item must be in its original condition; unused, unwashed, still in the original packaging, and with original tags still attached.
